Your academic advisor is one of many people who will be there to help you in college. He or she will be your reference for program and course decisions and your resource to explore other ways UW-Eau Claire helps you excel.

The benefits of a liberal arts education can get obscured when you're feeling the weight of that one tough class. The Academic Skills Center, math lab and writing lab offer free tutoring services - so don't delay, find someone to help pick you back up!

Moving into the residence halls can require some adjustment, and your Resident Assistant (RA) is there to smooth the process. While they help students in the hall/wing bond together, they're also there for individual guidance when you're in need of someone to lean on.

This upperclassman Orientation Advisor (OA) is showing new students the ropes on class registration. During orientation you'll learn all about college life, and your OA will be there to answer any lingering questions, from how to get those rental textbooks to laundry instructions!

When it comes to money matters and you're wondering how to pay for college and balance your diet with more than just mac 'n cheese, the advisors in the Financial Aid office are there to save the day! You can also search for extra income on your own via the online job board.

If it's tech help you're after, the LTS help desk is the perfect on-campus (and free) solution! Erased Wednesday's mid-term paper? Seek help from these technologically gifted students. Also take advantage of free computer workshops and build your own techie skill set!

Tucked away between the residence halls on upper-campus is Student Health Services - our all purpose health center. Location couldn't be better, and appointments are free at this clinic. Also, make the most of Counseling Services if the transition to college is taking its toll.
