Graduation is only the beginning. UW-Eau Claire graduates leave college equipped with a liberal arts degree, rich experiences and lasting relationships that prepare them well for their next step - be it graduate or professional school, the Peace Corps, or a career.

While working toward his Psychology degree with a behavior analysis emphasis, Matt highlights the Campus Autism Program recalling, “In my time at CAP, I was able to help teach a child to begin to talk,” an experience that inspired him to go on to pursue his Ph.D.

David, a talented pianist, has performed with UWEC's Jazz ensembles, directed the Gospel Choir and designed his own minor: “Music in Society”. He is attending graduate school at University of South Florida and plans to own a music conservatory for disadvantaged children.

“UW- Eau Claire was a place to find my potential through student organizations, research, study abroad, unique courses, wonderful professors and an active, friendly student body," Erica said. A kinesiology degree has prepared her for employment in research and health prevention.

UW- Eau Claire alum, Dan, now an associate accountant at Cargill, Inc., attributes his ‘trifecta’ of academic success in business finance, economics and accounting to his professors, “not only are they the best resource on campus, but they are all down-to-earth people.”

“I truly appreciated the diverse approach to my education,” reflects Allison about her undergrad experience in Costa Rica, volunteering with the homeless, and creating public health messages for a local Hmong radio station. She’ll soon start as a culturally competitive nurse at UW-Health Hospital.

“My proudest accomplishments have to be overcoming brain cancer to be a three-year letter winner in wrestling, graduating with my degree in business administration, and getting accepted into chiropractic school”. Carl aspires to own his own chiropractic/health spa business.
