The Great Northwoods Sales Warm-Up

Marketing students from seven states will compete for more than $5,000 in cash and prizes and the title of top salesperson during the fourth annual Great Northwoods Sales Warm-Up, scheduled for Nov. 11-13 at UW-Eau Claire.

The event, sponsored by the UW-Eau Claire College of Business, is designed to increase student interest in sales as a profession. Competitors deliver two 20-minute sales presentations to a corporate buyer, which are then evaluated by a panel of sales professionals. A job fair, professional development seminars and networking events, including the Liberty Mutual Friday Fun Night dinner and Enterprise Rent-A-Car Comedy Club, are scheduled during the event as well.
