Vacationers kayaking in Door CountySummer fun in Door County!

Enjoy the fun, adventure and beauty of Door County during an event hosted by the UW-Eau Claire Alumni Association Thursday and Friday, July 25 and 26. You’ll stay at Rowley’s Bay Resort in Ellison Bay, where activities will include a social hour, storytelling, fish boil and prime rib dinner, and a number of recreational activities, including zip line, Segway and kayak tours. Mark your calendars for Homecoming 2013, set for Friday and Saturday, Oct. 11 and 12, at UW-Eau Claire. From the parade to the Blugold Fever Fest and from the football game to the Fifth Quarter postgame party in Carson Park, you won’t want to miss the largest and most exciting Blugold gathering of the year! Golden Blugolds to be honored

UW-Eau Claire alumni who graduated in 1963 or earlier have earned the title of Golden Blugold and are invited to a special recognition during Homecoming weekend Friday and Saturday, Oct. 11 and 12. Golden Blugolds will attend a reception and dinner in Davies Student Center and participate in many other events held in conjunction with Homecoming. Details will be posted on the alumni events website as they become available.

Calling all Twin Cities business grads!

More than 250 UW-Eau Claire business faculty, staff and alumni from the Twin Cities area are expected to attend this year’s College of Business Bash, to be held sometime in October. Enjoy food and beverages, visit with your favorite professors and fellow alums, and be on hand for great door prizes provided by the UW-Eau Claire College of Business and Alumni Association. Check the COB website and social media sites in late August for the date and location of this year’s event. Information also will be posted on the alumni events website. The invitation will be sent out in September. Please make sure the Alumni Association has your most recent contact information. Updates can be made by completing the Blugold update form.
