About us

The View magazine is published twice a year for alumni and friends of the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. Our more than 65,000 alumni are a vital part of the university community; it is our goal to provide them with news about their fellow classmates, university programs and activities, and the accomplishments of alumni, current students and faculty.

Through The View online, we hope to reach a larger audience that might not receive the printed piece. The View online also allows readers to find feature articles that appeared in past issues by searching through our online archive.

The printed View magazine has been recognized in regional competitions sponsored by District V of the Council for Advancement and Support of Education.

Ann Hoffman '78, senior editor in the UW-Eau Claire News Bureau, is the magazine's editor. Sheila Pederson '84, senior artist in the university's Publications office, is the art director.
