Many UWEC students visit or become active members of Two to Tango each school year, so it takes a dedicated and dynamic team of executives to keep T3 running smoothly.
Hello, my name is Josh and I am the President and a Student Instructor for Two to Tango (T3). I am a Senior and will be entering my 5th year with T3. I am a Biology Major with a Music minor. I hail from Sun Prairie, Wisconsin where I learned my first dance moves with Swing. East Coast Swing is my favorite dance because of its fast pace and countless moves. I also really enjoy Argentine Tango, West Coast Swing, and Viennese Waltz. T3 has allowed me to meet a lot of new people that I would have never met in any other situation. It has given me a skill that I take beyond just T3 and apply it to other aspects of my life. T3 has really become my favorite parts of the week, thanks to all the friends I get to share it with. I hope to be a great leader for all of you, and most importantly dance as much as possible! Hope to see you all on the dance floor.
Hi, I'm Becca! I'm a junior here at UWEC, double majoring in History and English Literature with a German minor. I'm from West Bend, Wisconsin, which is just north of the Milwaukee area. My life is consumed by a passion for beautiful things like art, music, travel, and culture, and I have always thought that the idea of ballroom dancing was really interesting, but never knew how to get into it. After returning from my study abroad experience last Spring, I decided that I had had enough of not knowing and joined T3. Now dancing can be added to that list of passions. I'm so glad that I was given the opportunity to be an instructor because it means I get to share my love of dance with others.
Hello, dancers. I’m Robert Fisher and I am a Student Instructor and Co-Vice President for Two to Tango. My hometown is Maple Grove, Minnesota, which is a suburb of the Twin Cities. I am a junior and Computer Science major at UW-Eau Claire. Prior to joining T3, I had no ballroom dance experience, but I discovered that I enjoyed learning new dances with my friends each week. The best part about being an instructor is having the opportunity to help others learn and have fun dancing too. Some of my favorite dances are Swing, Salsa, and Viennese Waltz, but I am always interested in learning something different. In fact, I'm a improvisational ballroom dancing enthusiast (well, I suppose it’s partly trial and error, but it’s a whole lot of fun to invent a new move). What’s great about T3 is the opportunity to improve my knowledge and try new things along the way. I guess dance lessons can also be life lessons too! So, if you want to become a better you, then I will see you on the dance floor!
Hello! I am Shalaine Buehl and I am so excited to be the secretary and student instructor of Two to Tango. I am currently a sophomore at Eau Claire studying Mathematics-Physics Education. I hope to one day teach math or physics at the high school level. My hometown is Oak Creek, WI, which is just south of Milwaukee. I got involved with Two to Tango my freshman year after attending the Swing Fling. My friends in the Physics seminar room convinced me that if I enjoyed Swing Fling, I should attend the weekly Two to Tango lessons. I had no previous ballroom dance experience, but just really enjoyed dancing and thought ballroom dancing would be a lot of fun to try, and I have been hooked ever since! I am so thankful that I listened and joined Two to Tango! I have learned a variety of fun dances and made many wonderful friends doing so and know that many more are on the way! Can’t wait to see you on the dance floor!
Hello all! I’m Jake, the treasurer and a student instructor for Two to Tango. I'm a Junior here at Eau Claire studying Physics and Computer Science, and with what minimal free-time I have, I spend either dancing or … that’s about all I have time for. I come from Osseo WI, about 20 miles below Eau Claire. My first official contact with ballroom dancing was at the end of Spring 2012 with T3, my current favorite dances would have to be Viennese Waltz and East Coast Swing. I went to V-Ball this past spring for the first time and I’m definitely going again, I have also been to a handful of swing dances, so those two dances are the ones I have the most practice with (that may be the reason for the partiality). We’re doing a lot more than V-Waltz and Swing this year though, so be sure to get on the mailing list so you don’t miss a thing!

Hi there! My name is Josh and I hail from Wausau, WI. I am a sophmore studying History at UW-Eau Claire. This is my first year at T3 and I have already learned so much. I've always wanted to learn how to ballroom dance and it feels nice to take that off my bucket list. I started going with a friend at the start of the semester. After going to each lesson I made many more friends and was able to become a student instructor. My favorite dance has to be east coast swing because of the spirit and energy it gives off. Being in T3 has given me much more insight on what dancing truly is and how much fun can be had by learning in an environment surrounded by such wonderful people.
Hello! I am Hannah, Co-Public Relations and a student instructor for Two to Tango. I am a senior with a Psychology major and a Sociology minor. I got my start in T3 my freshman year with a bunch of girls living in the same dorm as me, it was the first time I had ever tried Ballroom Dancing although I always loved watching it in the movies! Tango, waltz and swing are my top three dances but I have fun with any dance. Over the summer I even did some folk dancing with my grandma! I have made many friends since I became a member of Two to Tango and I can't wait to make more!
Hey there! My name is Olivia and I am so honored to be the Co-Public Relations Officer of Two to Tango. I am a sophomore here at UW-Eau Claire and I have not quite declared a major. I am from New Berlin, Wisconsin which is a little west of Milwaukee. This is my first semester in Two to Tango and so far, I love it. I was interested in joining this club after my friend persuaded me to attend the Swing Fling event. There, I had a wonderful time learning how to swing dance and decided to check out the formal lesson with Two to Tango that Sunday. From that first lesson on, I was hooked on Social Ballroom Dancing and I was extremely impressed by how welcoming everyone in this club was. Two to Tango has taught me many different dances and has also helped me to improve my social skills greatly. I have made many wonderful friends so far and I hope to make many more in the future! :)
Hello! My name is Dr. Taylor, although most students just call me Dr. T. I was a member of T3 for some years before being asked to become Advisor. My prior social dance knowledge was primarily in swing although I had learned some ballroom and Latin styles. My primary dance background was in stage dance having performed with both the University of Wisconsin and University of Kansas Dance Departments, the Madison Theatre Guild, and I was invited to join the Wisconsin Ballet Company. I continue to learn new styles and variations through T3 and I very much enjoy helping new dancers improve their skills.
