Dr. Ryberg earned a Ph.D. in social welfare from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1985. He earned his M.S.W. degree in 1978 from the University of Illinois-Chicago.
He has 23 years of clinical social work practice and administration in the U.S. Air Force and in private practice.
His areas of interest include families, social policy, alcohol and drug treatment, and social work with groups.
In his free time, he enjoys Nordic skiing, canoeing, hiking, music and travel.
