The Philosophical Society was formed in March 1971.
The purpose of this organization is to enable its members to broaden their conceptual horizons and systematically inquire into basic assumptions through the fruitful, creative pursuit of philosophical endeavor.
Membership is open to all who have had or are enrolled in one course in philosophy or to anyone who shows a strong interest in philosophical discussion.
Election of officers is conducted in January or February.
