Association of Multiracial People was formed at UW-EC in February, 1999.

Its purpose is to give students an organization that is not focused on just one type of ethnic or cultural background, to educate others on the growing population of multiracial persons, and to give students an opportunity to network with others that have similar interests, but whom they would normally not meet.
