Inactive Organizations

The Black Student Association was formed in December of 1989.

The purpose of this organization is to unite people of high ideals around the purpose of individual and group achievement; and be a powerful stimulus and continual inspiration of Blacks towards meaningful accomplishment.

They will contribute guidance to the academic, intellectual and social welfare of the members, assist the intentions and purposes of the university, and inspire services in the public interest. The challenge is to counter the negative image of Blacks that is projected daily in our society.

Officers serve a one-year term beginning with the last meeting of the spring semester.
