Progressive Media Network was officially recognized in May 2005.

The purpose of this organization is to facilitate and encourage the flow of progressive media on the UW-Eau Claire campus and the surrounding Eau Claire community. By providing print, radio, TV, and internet media forms within the afore mentioned target area, Progressive Media Network will allow Eau Claire residents to connect with one another and create discourse between their elected leaders.
