Clearwater Media Cooperative was formed in December, 1996.
The purpose of this organization is to foster and promote alternative media interaction in the university system and the community, to provide a forum for the free expression of ideas, to act as a clearinghouse of relevant information, to develop and provide professional, credible media alternatives, and to augment the academic skills of students by providing a practical environment.
