The name of this organization shall be India Abroad Association. It was formed at UWEC in November, 1990.

The purpose of India Abroad Association shall be to encourage interaction of its members with American students and faculty and with other campus groups through the organization and participation in social and cultural events.

Membership shall be open to all students, faculty, and administrative staff from the Indian sub-continent, of such origin, or interested in finding out more about such cultures. The student member must be registered for a course of study in UW-EC.

Elections will be held annually.
