The Hmong Students Association was formed at UWEC in March, 1988. The establishment of this association is to meet the following goals:
- to assist the Admissions office in recruiting Hmong students
- to increase faculty, student, staff and community cultural awareness of the Hmong
- to work with faculty and staff to ensure the availability of services and also help Hmong-American students in their goals toward education
This association is open to any UWEC student, faculty, and/or administrative staff. There will be an annual fee of ten dollars.
Regular meetings shall be held twice a month.
