The Chinese Cultural Association was re-activated in March, 1999.
The Chinese Cultural Association was initially formed in March 1969.
The Association has three main objectives: to promote understanding between Chinese students and other students on campus, and facilitate communication between the Eau Claire community and the Chinese student body on campus, to introduce and explain Chinese culture and other related subjects to international friends, and to help newly arrived Chinese students to familiarize themselves with studies in the United States of America.
Active membership is open to all interested students. Any student, graduate, or faculty member may be selected to be an honorary member of the Association.
Meetings are held the first Friday of each month. Elections are conducted in April for the President and at the beginning of the fall semester for other officers.
