The UWEC Chapter of The Student National Environmental Health Association was formed in 1973.
Its purposes are: to be committed to the betterment of the nation's health through control of the environment, to promote the active improvement of environmental health professional education, to involve its members in the social, moral and ethical obligations of the profession of environmental health, to assist in the improvement and understanding of world environmental health problems, to contribute to the welfare of environmental health students and to support the activities, programs and objectives of the National Environmental Health Association.
Meetings are held monthly. Elections are conducted at the end of spring semester.
