The Eau Claire Student Chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management was formed in 1981.
The purposes of this chapter are to acquaint students with the fields of Human Resource Management or Labor Relations, to keep students up-to-date on new developments in Human Resource Management and related fields, to develop a nucleus of truly professional Human Resource Managers for the future, and to encourage adherence to the Code of Ethics of the Society for Human Resource Management.
Membership is open to all UWEC students and faculty.
Meetings are scheduled as deemed necessary. Elections of officers are held as the positions become vacant, for a period not exceeding two consecutive semesters per position.
