Student Athletic Advisory Committee was formed in February, 1999.
The purpose of the organization is to 1)assist in evaluation of the Men's and Women's Athletic Programs and make recommendations to Administration for the improvement of the student-athlete academic, athletic, and social experiences, 2)encourage unity, common purpose, and camaraderie between teams and among all athletes in the program, 3)to design and implement programs which will encourage academic achievement, social responsibility, and general athletic awareness.
Representatives must be full-time university students. Each varsity intercollegiate sports program will elect two representatives to serve on the Student Athletic Advisory Committee. Representatives are chosen at the beginning of each academic year.
