The UWEC Pharmaceutical Society was founded in 1968 and registered on campus in 1970.

Its objective is to promote an active interest in the advancement of pharmaceutical learning and to create a better understanding and fellowship among those persons interested in pharmacy.

Membership is open to all students enrolled in the pre-pharmacy program or otherwise interested in pharmacy.

Anyone enrolled in pre-pharmacy will find this organization interesting because it not only is a learning experience, it also allows one to meet others that are interested in the same course of study.

Regular meetings are held at least once a month and officers are elected at the last meeting of spring semester.
