In the past few years the Blugold Marching Band (BMB) has become one of the most active and energetic groups on campus. In 2004 the BMB gave ten performances, including halftime of the Green Bay Packers vs New York Giants football game, four Blugold home football games, one away game at St. John?s University, two exhibitions, two parades, and a stage show at Gantner Concert Hall.
In 2003 The Blugold Marching Band went through an image transformation. A new, more energetic style of marching was introduced. The unique marching style of the BMB combines the precision and artistry of drum and bugle corps with the high energy level of some of the great show bands of the south.
