The Eau Claire Student Nurses Association was chartered at UWEC in 1967 as a constituent of the Wisconsin District and National Student Nurses Association.
The purposes of ECSNA is to aid in the development of the individual student of nursing, as future health professionals, to be aware of and to contribute to improving the health care of all people.
Membership is open to students enrolled in the School of Nursing degree program and in pre-nursing courses as preparation for such enrollment.
Meetings are held monthly. Officers are elected at the annual meeting in February or March.
