This organization was officially recognized in May 2001. The organization is designed to serve the following purposes:
- To discuss and evaluate current issues in political science in a non-partisan manner.
- To encourage social interaction among students, faculty, and community members with an interest in politics.
- To help students develop a stronger appreciation and interest in the study of politics.
- To disseminate knowledge about political science and the study of politics to the student population at large.
