The Alpha Phi Omega National Service Fraternity was founded on December 16, 1925. Eta Lambda Chapter was chartered on this campus on May 1, 1949.
The APO has as its purpose the assembling of college men in the fellowship of the principles of the Boy Scouts of America as embodied in its Scout Oath and Law, to develop leadership, to promote friendship, to provide service to humanity, and to further the freedom that is our national, educational and intellectual heritage.
Active members must have established a gradepoint average of 2.00 or better, and maintain good academic standing.
Meetings are held each Tuesday. Elections are conducted in December and May. New officers assume duties at the beginning of each semester.
