The Newman Student Organization was formed at UWEC in January, 1991.
The purpose of the Newman Student Association is to be a Catholic Community for University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire students who are members of our worshipping community.
We will provide students the opportunity to grow in faith, love and friendship. This will be achieved through opportunities of worship, study of scripture, participation in Base Communities, social activities and shared activities with the other student constituencies that are part of the Ecumenical Religious Center.
Membership shall be open to all UW-Eau Claire students in good academic standing who are registered members of the Newman Community that is located at the Ecumenical Religious Center on UW-Eau Claire campus.
