The Eau Claire Collegiate Chapter of American Marketing Association was formed in 1980. The purposes of this organization are to:

  • foster scientific study and research in the field of marketing
  • develop sound thinking in marketing theory and more exact knowledge and definition of marketing principles
  • improve the methods and techniques of marketing research
  • develop better public understanding and appreciation of marketing problems
  • study and discuss legislation and judicial decisions regarding marketing
  • improve marketing personnel
  • record progress in marketing through the publication of outstanding papers
  • encourage and uphold sound, honest principles, and keep marketing work on a high ethical plane
  • promote friendly relations between students, faculty, and business people.

Membership is open to any UWEC student.

Elections are conducted each fall and spring semester.
