Active Organizations

The AIESEC-U.S. (Eau Claire) Local Committee was formed in May 1976.

Its purpose is to identify a select group of management career oriented students with outstanding leadership potential and to prepare them to become international managers, seeking to provide future managers with the unique combination of professional skills and in-depth understanding of the world which will enable them to effectively and responsibly shape international events.

AIESEC is a student-run international business organization that offers a unique opportunity for students to interact in the business community. Members of AIESEC encourage businesses in their area to participate by offering internship assignments to qualified foreign students. Students with a foreign language and business combination find this program particularly appealing, though a language is not required.

In addition, contact with high level executives in the business community affords students a chance for self-development unparalleled by any textbook. AIESEC is community oriented and complements the student members' theoretical education with practical experience.

Membership is open to any student at UWEC.

Meetings are established for each semester at the first meeting of the semester. Elections are conducted each spring.
