SSS Connections Group Activities for Fall 2009

Saturday, September 12
Volleyball and Frisbee Fun
SSS mentors and mentees will get to know each other while playing Frisbee and sand volleyball.  Refreshments will be provided, and tee shirts given out to all participants.
1:00-2:30 pm, at the Towers volleyball courts

Monday, October 12
Game Night
SSS mentors and mentees will take a break from studying and test their skill at such games as Texas Hold ’Em, Apples to Apples, Pictionary, Taboo, and Catch Phrase.  Refreshments will be served.
5:30-8:00 pm, in Oak Ridge Hall, #15

Saturday, November 7
Trip to the Mall of America and the Guthrie Theater
Don’t miss our bus trip to the Twin Cities!  Mentors and mentees will spend the afternoon exploring the Mall of America and then proceed to the Guthrie Theater for a production of the classic comedy The Importance of Being Earnest.
leave Eau Claire at 1:30 pm; performance is 7:30-9:30 pm; arrive back in Eau Claire approximately 11:50 pm  

Thursday, December 3
Ice Cream Social
Ice cream in winter?  Why not!  Mentors and mentees will gather for informal discussion and see who can build the biggest ice cream sundae. 
5:00-6:00 pm, in Oak Ridge Hall, #15
