Inverse Square Law


This is a good demonstration of how the inverse square law works. As you can see, the counters farther away from the source record less hits than the closer ones. The amount of hits is proportional to 1/r^2 where r is the distance between a given counter and the source. Some examples of this relationship are gravitational force and electromagnetic force.
