How To Join

There are different requirements for joining Sigma Tau Delta at the local and national levels.

To qualify to participate in the activities of THETA ZETA, the
UW-Eau Claire chapter of Sigma Tau Delta,

Go to the meetings that take place every other week
Be an English major, minor, undeclared or graduate student
Help out with chapter activities like the Children's Writing Contest or book sales

There are NO GPA REQUIREMENTS for Theta Zeta, and just recently a motion passed to have dues suspended indefinitely until members of the organization reinstate them! There has never been a better time to join!

Becoming a member of the International Sigma Tau Delta Organization
is a little more difficult. To qualify you must:

Have at least a 3.0 GPA in your major
Be in the upper 1/3 of your class
Have already completed three semesters of college work

If you fit these requirements, you can become a lifetime member! The one-time International Organization dues are only $37--that's for life! For more information on joining the Organization, get to a local meeting and talk to the Eau Claire Sigma Tau Delta officers.
