Greetings!

Hello and welcome to the official website of the Theta Zeta Chapter of Sigma Tau Delta, located at the University of Wisconsin -Eau Claire. Founded in January of 1956, we are proud to be celebrating 55 years of excellence.

Congratulations to everyone who participated in this year's International Convention in New Orleans. Once again, the Theta Zeta chapter from UW-Eau Claire had one of the largest groups in the nation accepted for presentation at this convention: 9 critical papers and creative works. In addition, Theta Zeta students presented on two roundtable discussions and chaired several sessions, participated in the business meeting and regional caucus, worked at the registration desk, attended the display table, sold t-shirts, and/or actively participated in the student leadership workshops.
At the convention, Sigma Tau Delta announced the recipients of $51,000 in scholarships in this round of awards, and three Theta Zeta member brought home $8,000 of that award money:
Kristin Chang received the $4,000 Senior Scholarship from Sigma Tau Delta.
Melissa Miller received the $2,000 P.C. Sommerville Award for future teachers from Sigma Tau Delta.
Amanda Hendricks received the $2,000 P.C. Sommerville Award for future teachers from Sigma Tau Delta.
There are only two of these awards given each year; and BOTH of those awards went to Sigma Tau Delta members from UW-Eau Claire.
