Lending Library-
The WAGE Center keeps a selection of books and magazines on gender and sexual identity issues.
Math Tutoring-
Free math tutoring for non-traditional students. Contact us to set up an appointment with Dr. Carolyn Hopp. See flyer here.
Safe Space-
The WAGE Center provides a private space and resources for anyone needing confidential assistance. WAGE can also assist individuals in gaining access to Emergency Contraception. Open 24 hours a day. (715-225-4571)
Events-
We offer a wide variety of educational programming,
service-learning and FYE experiences. Many of our events are planned in collaboration with other organizations and departments on campus.
Lounge Area-
Need a place for your organization to meet? The WAGE center provides a lounge area that can be used for student meetings.
Domestic Violence Support Service-
The DV Center provides support and advocacy to students and community members who have been affected by domestic violence. The DV Center understands that domestic violence affects people of different classes, gender, culture, sexual orientation, religion, and race. We strive to provide effective service to all people. UWEC Clothing Closet:
The WAGE Center, Career Services and Non-traditional Student Services are proud
to announce the UWEC Clothing Closet. Clothing for women, men, and children will be collected at the
WAGE Center and distributed to non-traditional students who are in need. Donations can be dropped off at
anytime by anyone in the WAGE Center. Contact WAGE for more information or simply drop off your
donation.
Lactation Space:
The WAGE Center offers a private space for any person in need of a private area for breast
feeding.
