Services:
The DV center provides support and advocacy to victims of domestic violence. A trained advocate is available to talk with victims of domestic violence about their situation and the dynamics of domestic violence. The domestic violence center can assist victims in safety planning and locating area resources. An advocate can inform victims of their legal options and assist victims in filling out restraining order petitions. If enough interest develops an advocate could facilitate a domestic violence support group where victims of DV could meet to discuss their experiences and support each other.
