Welcome
The mission of the UWEC Women’s And Gender Equity Center is to advocate for the welfare of those who have historically been marginalized because of their sexual and/or gender identity. We will create a supportive environment that fosters feelings of good will, tolerance, and respect for people of all religions, races, socio-economic backgrounds, sexual orientations, and gender. The WAGE Center will provide programs and services in collaboration with departments, organizations, and offices already established on campus that address issues and challenges facing students, faculty, and staff. We will build a just community through the sponsorship of intellectual, personal, and cultural development programming.
