The Pioneers
In the first year of its foundation, a group of young UWEC Students pioneered the organization of the SPANISH BUSINESS ASSOCIATION.
As of May 4, 2006, the Spanish Business Association is being recognized by the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire as an Association, registered and approved, with all the rights and privileges generally accorded to organizations on this campus.
This picture of the first members will be exhibited in all events held by this Association for years to come. They will serve as models of hard work and dedication, for future UWEC student members.
The PIONEERS of this Association are: (from left to right) Josh N. Wirgau, Sally M. Wilson, Jesse S. Kunes –Vice President-, Andrew J. Reigel –President-, Juan Carlos Chaves –Advisor-, Heather D. Fritz, Jeff D. Mares, and Mallory M. Chase.
I am honored and proud to work as an advisor for this group of dedicated and hard working students whose main purpose is to serve as a bridge between the Community and other UWEC Students. They strongly believe that the effort of connection will create better understanding between these two worlds through common goals and standards of leadership.
I hope future members of this organization follow the goal set by this first group in the Spanish Business Association.
