It is imperative that the president is a leader and can accomplish tasks in a timely manner. This will require good organization and communication skills. A lot of the success of the club depends on you and your direction. One of your main responsibilities is to delegate duties and direct the club in which direction you and your fellow board members would like to see it go in. It is important to be friendly and outgoing at each meeting and to try to get to know fellow members. At times you will have to recruit people to join SAS and to get them to come to meetings. If you just get to know people and make them feel accountable to the club numbers will flourish. This will also help when you need help from fellow members and not just the board to plan events.
