Examinations |
|
Each
Examination
will
include multiple-choice, fill-in, and essay questions based upon
assigned readings, lectures, class discussions, exercises, and
workshops.
Make-up examinations
will be offered only
in case of a documented serious illness or emergency. Because
make-up examinations will be entirely essay format they will likely
take much longer to complete. |
|
Final Examination: A Two-Part
Examination |
|
The Final Examination will
consist of two parts. The first section, worth a maximum of 150
points, will cover the material assigned after the Second
Examination; all students will be required to take the first section
of the Final Examination. |

Reading and
Review Guides |
|
Rather than have you guess what I
think is important, I have provided online reading guides to
suggest what you might look for in the reading assignments in
our textbook, and will provide study guides to help you
determine which portions of our lectures and assignments are
most likely to appear on an examination, |
|
Although the purpose
of these guides is to help you, they are not going to tell you
specifically what is going to be on the examinations and what is
not. For a list of reading and study guides, select "Guides"
from the column on the left side of this page. |
The following study
guides are provided to help you with your readings,
both for class preparation and in studying for examinations. These
will be
updated from time to time,
so return to this site before each
examination. |
