The Schofield-Lost Highway site is located in Altoona, about 7 miles east of Eau Claire. The Schofield parcel is ~ 55 acres, the northern, north-facing half of which is the subject of this study. Note the location of U.S. Highway 12, along which development pressure and eastward expansion of suburban Eau Claire is focused. |
