The 120 credit BA or BS degree in music provides a strong, broad-based major complemented by a minor (or second major) in another area of study. The degrees present a wide range of career options in music, music-related fields, and in multi-disciplinary careers. They also provide excellent preparation for graduate study in an area of musical research or in the humanities. The BA and BS degrees differ only in their distribution of general education courses. Applicants to the BA and BS degrees in music may present their
admission audition on any instrument or voice.
