CR Of The Month
Michelle Voigt
Michelle went above and beyond the call of duty during the month of February. She consistently showed up at CR meetings and events and also got a lot organized as Chair of the Social Committee.
Furthermore, she responded quickly when she heard about the UW Admissions policy that treats people differently based on their race. Michelle organized an effective way to showcase our disagreement with the policy. She put it all together in just a few days. Afterwards, when she was attacked in the paper for standing on her beliefs, she never once backed down or equivocated on her position. She makes history by being the only CR to ever win CR of the month twice! Congratulations Michelle!

Year-in-School: 2nd, Sophomore
Why I joined CR's: All Freshman were encouraged to "get involved" so I tried CR's (and it became my passion).
Craziest Thing I've Ever Done: Went swimming in the mighty Chippewa River when the air temperature was 38 degrees Fahrenheit.
Favorite Food: Toast
