There aren't any!!! What a deal, huh?
An official transcript of a student's record will be issued by the Office of the Registrar at the student's WRITTEN request. No transcripts are released (except when requested by advisers or administrative officers within the University) without the permission of the student. There is normally no charge for transcripts, although the Registrar reserves the right to limit the number furnished directly to the student. (Current limit is 5 at any one time.) An official transcript cannot be issued until all admission and financial obligations to the University have been met in full. If you have questions about these procedures, call 836-2999. If you have an unusual request or specific concerns, please send your questions to Transcripts.
NOTE: Most institutions will NOT (and should not) consider a transcript to be official unless it has been mailed directly from the Registrar's Office of the institution preparing it!
Advising transcripts are available to students for advising purposes and for applying for admission to professional programs. They have all the same information as an official transcript, but they are printed on plain white paper, and do not have the University seal imprinted on them.
