Grades
Progress and Grade Reports--
Freshman students receive a mid-semester grade report from each of their
instructors, whatever the level of the course. Other students may individually
request and receive from each instructor an indication of the general
quality of their coursework at mid-semester.
At the conclusion of the Fall or Spring semesters, Winterim, or Summer session, a grade report is sent by email to each enrolled student at the student's UW-Eau Claire email account. If you have questions about accessing your UW-Eau Claire email account, please go to the Online Communications page.
You may also view your grades in MyBlugold. As soon as instructors have submitted grades and they have been entered into the University mainframe, the grades will appear in My Academic Info in MyBlugold.
If you have any questions about a specific grade for a course, you should talk to the instructor. But if you have general questions about how grades are computed, or if you think there is an error on your record, you should talk with Barbara Thom who is the Records Maintenance Specialist in the Registrar's Office.

Grading System--
A system of letter grades is used except when the course
is offered only on the Satisfactory/Unsatisfactory basis or when
the student has elected that option. (See University catalogue
for procedures and restrictions.)
