If you look at your email through Eudora, you should Copy and Paste your Degree Audit to a Microsoft Word document and make sure you have the text set at Courier New, 9pt.
If you read your email using Microsoft Outlook, there is a good chance that when you print your Degree Audit it is more than eight or nine pages long. For a much shorter version, try the following:
- Copy and Paste your Degree Audit to a Microsoft Word document
- From the File menu, select Page Setup
- Select the Margins tab
- Change both the Left and Right text boxes to 0.5"
- Click on OK
- Make sure you are using Courier New, 9pt
If you forward your university mail to a Hotmail account, there is a good chance that when you print out your Degree Audit it will be more than eight or nine pages long. You can change your Hotmail settings to get a much shorter version.
- From your Hotmail Inbox, select Options
- From the Additional Options column, select Mail Display Settings
- From Line Width, select the radio button for 132 characters
- Click on OK at the bottom
NOTE: You should change these settings before you open the message containing your Degree Audit or they will not be applied. If the message has already been read, just forward it to yourself and the new message will reflect the changes.
If you forward your university mail to a Yahoo! Mail account, there is a good chance that when you print out your Degree Audit it is more than eight or nine pages long. You can change your Yahoo! Mail settings to get a much shorter version.
- From your Yahoo! Mail Inbox, select Options
- From Personalization, select Mail Preferences
- Scroll down until you see Screen Width (Viewing) and change the text box to 99 characters
- Click on Save at the bottom
NOTE: You should change these settings before you open the message containing your Degree Audit or they will not be applied. If the message has already been read, just forward it to yourself and the new message will reflect the changes.
