Change of Major/Minor Procedures

How to change your major to Nursing:

If you are considering changing your major to Nursing, you must first acquire a "What-If" Degree Audit from the Registration Office in Schofield Hall. This audit will help you know what courses you have taken that meet the nursing program requirements and what additional courses you will need to complete the program.

Next, contact the University Services Associate by e-mail to set up an appointment to meet with the Assistant Dean or her representative.

Once you have decided that nursing is indeed the field you wish to pursue, please provide the University Services Associate the change of major form given you at the meeting you attended. The University Services Associate will assign you a permanent advisor.

How to Change your catalogue year:

If you are considering changing your catalogue year you must first acquire a "What -If" Degree Audit from the Registrar's Office.

Next meet with your academic advisor to discuss the impact the change will have on your academic progression. Your advisor will provide you with a form to take to the Assistant Dean's Office and the University Services Associate will make the necessary change.
