Change of Major/Minor Procedures

How to change to a major or minor in the Department of Art & Design:

1. Bring your "What-If" Degree Audit to the department office in HFA 104. The program assistant will direct you on how to meet with the department chair and the appropriate area head.

Please note: If faculty are not available at the moment, you will need to return later. This process may take time – it is important to plan ahead.

The Change of Major Request Form lists the majors and the degrees offered by the Art & Design Department. You may get the required form in the department office or by clicking on the link.

2. Advising documents are available in the department office. You will be provided with this material and encouraged to read it.

3. After you meet with the area head and chair, the program assistant will change your major or minor online and assign you to an Art & Design advisor.
