Change of Major/Minor/Degree/Catalogue Year

Want a different major or minor, but don't know how to proceed?

To add a new major or minor; or to change your catalogue year or your degree, follow the department procedures of your desired program. If you wish to change to "Undeclared," go to the Academic Advising Office in Schofield 226. An adviser in the department can:

• address your concerns about choosing or changing programs.
• assist you by discussing degree requirements, class choices and academic concerns.
• identify the types of internship opportunities available to you.
• help you decide whether or not graduate school should be a consideration for your future.
• give you information about the types of employment opportunities in your field.

If you wish to change to a new major, minor, degree, or catalogue:

• Obtain a "What-If" Degree Audit (this will show you and your advisor the requirements you may have already completed for the new program).
• Follow the procedures for changing your major/minor/degree/catalogue.
• Check out other resources for additional information about a program.
