COLLEGE MISSION STATEMENT

The College of Professional Studies provides quality undergraduate and graduate programs and experiences for the life-long learning of preservice and practicing professionals in education, human sciences and services, and nursing; service courses for undergraduate and graduate students; and related services for the community.

The variety of shared and distinct learning experiences of the College preserves the integrity of professional practice and focuses on the integration of a liberal education with professional studies and theory with application. The experiences promote ethical practice, public policy advocacy and caring dispositions; enhance the personal and professional growth of students and faculty; and contribute toward the improvement of the human condition.

As members of the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire College of Professional Studies, we acknowledge our individual, collaborative, and collective successes while at the same time embrace the challenge of pursuing new avenues of excellence. In our stewardship, we strive to model practices that may make the world a better and healthier place in which to live and work. In our passion to discover practices that may accomplish our vision, we seek to remember our past but to focus on the future.
