Cancellation of Registration

Spring/Fall Semesters

To cancel your registration (drop ALL courses) and receive a full fee refund, drop all your classes on MyBlugold or notify Registration Services, Schofield 128, IN WRITING prior to the first day of classes.  There will be no record of enrollment for the semester.  Thus, undergraduate students who cancel their registrations lose continuing student status and must apply for readmission to return in a future semester.  Requests to cancel registration received by Registration Services beginning the first day of the semester will be referred to the Dean of Students office for processing as a withdrawal from the University, for which there will be a transcript record and a withdrawal fee charged.

Summer/Winterim Sessions

For the optional sessions, Winterim and Summer, the student must drop or withdraw from the course(s) officially, either online via MyBlugold or through Registration Services.  Drop (no record) and withdrawal (W on record) deadlines for each course are displayed on MyBlugold or are available from Registration Services.  Any course may be dropped via MyBlugold (no signatures required) PRIOR to the beginning date of the course.  Contact Registration Services (715)836-2425 to receive instructions on dropping a course once the class has begun.
