MISSION STATEMENT
The College
of Professional Studies provides quality undergraduate and graduate
programs and experiences for the life-long learning of preservice and
practicing professionals in education, human sciences and services, and
nursing; service courses for undergraduate and graduate students; and
related services for the community.
The variety of shared and
distinct learning experiences of the College preserves the integrity of
professional practice and focuses on the integration of a liberal
education with professional studies and theory with application. The
experiences promote ethical practice, public policy advocacy and caring
dispositions; enhance the personal and professional growth of students and
faculty; and contribute toward the improvement of the human condition.
