"Get Back on Track!" in Fall 2009

The Academic Skills Center will offer a section of GEN 110 Strategies for Academic Success this fall for students in academic difficulty who want to return to good academic standing.

The GEN 110 Strategies for Academic Success one credit course is designed for students who have encountered barriers to academic success in the past and who want to achieve a higher level of success in the future.

The course is specifically designed to help students:

  • Manage time and life more efficiently

  • Examine the most efficient and effective ways to study and take exams

  • Gain an understanding of various teaching and learning styles

  • Identify academic and career goals

  • Prepare a personal plan for success

~ GEN 110, Section 701 (call#1731) meets Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 to 10:50am.
