The indoor archery range is designed to provide students, faculty, and staff the exciting opportunity to be introduced to the sport of archery. Any student or faculty/staff member with a current UWEC ID card is eligible to use the range. Don't miss the excitement and wonder of the "mystical, magical, flight of the arrow." Talk to your friends about learning the awesome sport of archery.
All participants in the program attend a brief orientation session conducted by the on-duty Range Officer. It consists of a brief review of range safety, etiquette/commands, and scoring. Orientation arrangements can also be made by contacting Dan Langlois at 836-3616 or by e-mailing
langlodt@uwec.edu. Archery equipment is usually provided by range participants, but there are a limited number of starter bows available for first time shooters.
The Archery Range offers orientation and instruction for beginner shooters during normal hours of operation. We also offer league shooting opportunities for all levels of archery experience. The archery leagues are currently offered on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm through March 16, 2007. Additional league action will be offered from March 16, 2007 until May 20, 2007, depending upon student interest.
